Bellingham is a growing and vibrant community with some of the most outstanding natural resources in the world. With Mount Baker just 45 minutes east of Bellingham, two large beautiful lakes, (Lake Whatcom and Lake Samish) as well as some smaller lakes including, Lake Padden and Emerald Lake, the Pacific Ocean and Bellingham Bay. Fairhaven has many of the same brick buildings from its spirited beginnings at the turn of the century, and has a charm all its own. Fairhaven residents are intensely proud of their community, and have taken great care in preserving its character. Visitors from far and near are welcome!
